Chatting on IMs like yahoo messenger, Gtalk is largely replacing telephonic conversations. And is often considered as an alternative to telephonic talks. Those talks on messengers are often considered to be a personal affair between the two. If one of them is sharing the conversation on blog or a forum, without the other party knowing, can it be considered same as recording the telephonic call and sharing it without consent of another person? How ethical can it be considered?

I think one aspect to this is how its being done… is he doing it to insult the other person, or to make a fool of them behind their back then that sucks. Which is true also offline, where they can go and gossip abt people.
